Rod Epp

Rodney Lee Epp, “Rod” born on February 28, 1954, in Lincoln, NE, passed away on April 22, 2024, in Denver, Colorado, at the age of 70. Rod, a beloved son of Ronald Epp and the late Loretta Epp, is survived by his father, sister Cheri Epp, brother Larry (RoxAnne) Epp, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Gus and Annabel Epp, William and Ona Webb.

Rodney, known for his love of old movies and TV series like Mash, was a computer whiz with a passion for technology since a young age. He enjoyed collecting soundtracks and had a knack for puns and wordplay.

Rodney served in the Army from 1973 to 1986. After his military service, Rod lived in Chicago, where he pursued a career in technology. He worked for Information Resources, Inc. from 1987 to 2000, designing systems to analyze television advertising effectiveness. In 2005, he returned to Lincoln briefly, working for the SCOT Project before moving to Denver in June 2006.

Rodney attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Denver and found joy in hobbies like watching movies, musicals, and taking pictures with his iPhone. His quick wit and sense of humor brightened the lives of those around him.

A celebration of life will be held , to honor and remember Rodney's life and contributions Saturday May 4th 2-4 p.m. at Larry & RoxAnne Epp’s 5320 N. 11th Street Lincoln, Ne. 68521. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
